Meet Danilli Shield: scam protection for regular people

October 31, 2026 · 5 min read

What we built this week: an AI security agent that answers strangers, checks any message before you click, warns your family, and writes your police report.

Why we built it

Scams are now the biggest crime on the internet. Americans lost $16.6 billion to internet crime in 2024, according to the FBI, and people pretending to be someone else (your bank, Amazon, "support," the police, a grandchild in trouble) are the number one fraud reported to the FTC. This week's $6.3 billion Binance hack started a new wave of fake "support" calls and fake refund pages.

Most of the people who lose their savings aren't careless. They get one call that sounds real, at the wrong moment. So we built Danilli Shield: protection that works for regular people, explained in plain words, in English and Spanish.

What Danilli Shield does

  1. "Is this real?" Paste a text, an email, a link, a screenshot, or describe a call. Danilli checks it against what scammers actually do and against public records, like how old a website is. Then it tells you clearly: this is a scam, this looks like a scam, or be careful.
  2. The Security Agent answers strangers for you. Calls from numbers you don't know go to Danilli. It finds out who it is, takes a message from real people, ends spam, and sends you a short summary. On a call that feels wrong, you can add Danilli to the call and it warns you the moment someone asks for a code or money.
  3. Trick the scammer. If a caller is a scammer, Danilli can play a confused person for a few minutes and collect what only the scammer has: their callback number, their wallet, their script. It never gives anything real and never pays. Everything goes into your report.
  4. Your family circle. Pick up to 8 people, like your kids. If a scammer goes after you, they get a calm, short message so they can check on you.
  5. Investigate deeper and your police report. Danilli looks up the public records behind a scam (the website, the phone line, the wallet), so you never have to open the scam yourself. Then it writes your FBI and FTC report, ready to paste.
  6. The Scam Net. Every phone number, website and wallet used in a confirmed scam is remembered across all Danilli users. When one shows up again, everyone is warned. It holds the scammer's details only, never yours.
  7. Danilli Filter. Turn it on once on your phone or computer, and known fake and dangerous websites simply don't open, even if you tap a bad link by mistake. Free.
  8. Computer checkup. In the Danilli app for Mac and Windows, Danilli Guard looks for what scammers leave behind, like programs that let a stranger control your computer, and tells you exactly what to do. It also warns you if a copied crypto wallet address changes by itself before you paste it.
  9. Phone and home checkups. Danilli asks your phone company if your SIM card was moved or your calls are being sent somewhere else, and checks if your home internet has an open door a stranger could use.
  10. 24/7 account watch. If someone opens your Danilli account from a new place or a new phone, you get a message right away.

Your data stays locked

Your chats, memory, email and Shield cases are stored encrypted on our side. A copy of the database alone shows scrambled text.

What Danilli will never do

Danilli doesn't hack, trace or attack anyone. That's illegal, and only phone companies and the police can trace a call. It can't reverse a payment, and crypto that was already sent usually can't come back. What Danilli does: catch the scam before it happens, keep the evidence, and make the police report easy.
